I used Tigerlily her for today's photograph. Not to photograph her (ironically) but to use her to get to places which would take me too long to walk to.
I ended up taking this photograph when I was on her -- but because I had an 85mm lens, I had to lean back, almost lying flat on her back, just so I could get this at the right angle!
5 Days out of 7 I spend 2hrs training her, along with another horse and today I really began to realise that the work I do is actually worth it - only when I challenge her and myself do I realise quite how much of a partner/relationship I've got with her. I was able to ask her to do things I couldn't have perviously dreamed of...!
Since I was training Tigerlily only a few hours earlier, I didn't tack her up - I just jumped on bareback (though I kept her rug on!). See this photograph:- www.oliviabellphotography.com/?attachment_id=1904 - I took this when I jumped off to do some more photography on the ground!
With her ears forward like that it appears as though she heard something.
