Shelter - Day 108

Description

Day 108/365

Today I went to do another self-portrait today. However, as it was so foggy/threatening to rain again, I couldn't get my set-up where I had in mind, with the risk of rain... so, Sasha came along with me, and said she would be my human tripod. It was quite amusing.

Anyway, I ended up getting something (see in comments) - but on my way home, I stopped by these woods (I've used them loads before) and I couldn't help photographing them, especially as they were so different with the fog/evening light.

Because it was so dark, my exposure was lower than I would EVER usually have it... at least without a tripod!

Exposure: 0.067 sec (1/15) (copy/paste from my exif data) - I can tell you, I've never been so still! :P

Hope you like this!

I could, once upon a time, successfully hand-hold down to a quarter of a second. Sadly, no more. 1/15 is very impressive, and this is a lovely shot. You've captured a mood here, and done so very well under difficult conditions :)
