"What do you see when you look through me?"
With 3 days to go I had to do another self-portrait.
As far as I can remember, I haven't done a self-portrait during the 'golden hour' photographing directly into the sunlight... and I know why!!!! It was a PAIN. Whenever I do photograph people directly into the sunlight I ALWAYS use manual focus because the sun flare makes auto-focus almost impossible.
So, with this self-portrait I had to make auto-focus work... as I'm sure you can imagine, I had a lot of out of focus photographs.
My ratio for this was 1/3. For every 3 photos I took, only 1 was in focus! Normally it is 3/3 so this self-portrait took a lot longer than it should have!
Anyway, I love a challenge, so I'm happy
