I haven't really updated this journal in almost an entire year...

I've been posting some photographs, thank you for all your lovely comments by the way

This is just a sort of side-note. I've recently turned one of my older domains into something useful. Had it since 2007 but haven't been updating it since well... 2007.

New layout, new content, working on sharing important, proper stuff, so if you have a moment, I'd love you to take a look and tell me what you think...

Hello everybody...


I got home late last night (9PM UK time, but my body clock said it was 2AM!) from a long, 13 hour flight (not to mention the car journey) from Mauritius. I've been there for the past two weeks or so, which has been a more than welcome rest and recharge of batteries!

Most of my time was spent on the water, water-skiing. I did take a few photographs towards the end of the holiday, not to mention everybody water-skiing. I have yet to get hold of the photographs, there were so many and all were loaded onto my fathers laptop, so it'll take a while for me to shift through them. The only photograph I have is one taken half way through the holiday of me skiing which I uploaded to Facebook from my fathers laptop, so I don't even have the proper original!

So, a little hello from me - the Facebook version of me water-skiing, bad quality, resized and all plus a promise of upcoming photos, very soon!

Just a quick note really... I wanted to thank everyone for their lovely comments, and to apologise to those I haven't replied to. I've read almost all of them, but I've had a number of things to do lately that just haven't allowed me to reply to them all like I normally do.

Yesterday I spent twelve hours writing for charity with a number of other people who are members of a forum. I managed to complete 20 pieces, in about 5 hours - I didn't have the chance to spend the total 12 hours as other things were calling!

Pretty exhausting really but for a great cause!


Rosanna, Sasha and I spent a little while with the camera today (as some of you may have seen) - just a little something really as someone suggested we think "autumn".


Anyway - I could go on and on, but I shouldn't. I'll be around more in a few weeks time (I hope!). Thanks a lot again for all your feedback, I really do appreciate it

I've barely picked up my camera recently, the light down here has been rubbish and very uninspiring... plus I've been run off my feet and also working on a new project - which is very exciting and rather booming!

The rain has stopped for a while, so if things quieten down, I'll drag Rosanna and Sasha outside to try something..

1. I've sat here for a good five minutes trying to work out what to write for #1...........


2. I hate "following trends". When Harry Potter came out, I flat refused to read it... only to eat humble pie a few years later when I fell in love with it.... the same goes for things like the Twilight series, Plurk and also Facebook!


3. I much prefer male friends... although I love a good girly chat, I do live with 3 "girls" (2 very girly sisters and my lovely mother )... but most of the time guys tend to be more interesting and fun to spend time with and talk to.

4. Music inspires me. I'm sure it does for many other people too... but it inspires me to do all sorts of things. To write, photograph, create something new for a website, but mostly it inspires me express myself, which sometimes I find tricky... and I'm not talking about being outgoing, more "letting someone in" by expressing my feelings (for them)...

5. My life goal, is to never be completely financially dependent on a "someone"... a boyfriend, husband etc.

6. I've never been to school, and I've never sat an exam

7. I don't have a single piercing or tattoo... and I've never died my hair

8. I loathe the effect alcohol has on my mind and body... so I don't drink.
