It's been something I've thought of adding to my wish list, but I'm not very educated regarding them. I found a great website [link] but I've got to say it's sending me in circles as I can't decide how much work it will be to use one, whether the lens would be worth the money and effort and more so, which to go for? etc etc.
So I was wondering whether anyone here has anything to say, and if you do I'd love some feedback.

It's been pretty dark and boring over here in England, really hoping to get a few dry days with some less flat light so Rosanna, Sasha and I can give our ideas a go... but apart from a few from Sasha, concerning balloons (should be interesting
I've spent a lot of time today going through all the photography news articles, looking for inspiration. I've gotta say, there is a huge amount of beautiful work... I couldn't help but feature a few I love (if you think I should check something out - note me)!

and others on the website I think.
General concensus is that they create unique effects which are hard to replicate in photoshop but they do require a little practice and certainly cannot be used "on the fly"
I think for what you do it would offer exciting creative options at a lowish cost (and I am assuming you cant afford a 50 1.2L or 85 1.2L

As for photo ideas i agree about water in motion, always good, and woodlands never cease to provide good pictures whether on purpose or by accident and i wouldnt mind seeing a few more like the jeans since theyre the ones that first introduced me to your gallery (and im very glad about that ^^)
I'd just love to be able to get around more. Need to take my driving test! Walking and riding a bike is all fine, but around here there are hills everywhere, no problem - but with a camera + a few lens and a tripod (especially for landscape) = nightmare.
Jeans were just really a one-off go and as you may see, I took them down as I wanted to keep my gallery family-friendly, if you know what I mean. But who knows what I'll do in the future!
