What I'm looking for:
Everything! Wolves, foxes, fennec foxes, ferrets, servals, bobcats, tigers, other big cats, small cats, deers, dragons, gryphons, dogs, birds, hybrids, original species.. bring it!
I'm leaving the details to your imagination, but here are some things I really like:
-White base color with black and red markings<33 (mostly on canines)
-Cute and fluffy things! No need to go all big eyes and oversized heads, but animals with fur. Creepy and slimy things just aren't my thing.. Still don't be afraid to make something dark/evil
-Anything tribal
-Native american stuff
-Feathers!
-Tawny, golden, brown, white, red, blue, cyan, gray, black (well, not all combined)
-I like more natural base colors, but with smaller markings in unnatural colors like blue or red
-Long tails, big/long

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.
And this is becoming a growing problem, I think, because n

Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you finally made the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean more quality to the paintings, am i right?.
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?

Olympics - Madness

I just caught up with a friend of mine who's off to Beijing on Wednesday for the Olympics (as in, he's part of the GB team). It's pretty amazing that it's so close.

I'm super excited as I'll get to watch him shoot (he shoots Double Trap) and get to see the best Gymnasts (I used to be a gymnast), Runners, Riders etc. Are you excited at all?

I've been all over the place as I mentioned previously - but hopefully next week should be back to normal so I can get back to taking more photographs. I know Rosnana & Sasha have a few ideas tucked up their sleeves... but I really could do with something listing ideas - from insane to sane ones. Anything to get me inspired.

i definitely look forward to the olympics every time. definitely even more fun knowing someone or being from the same town as someone competing.

some ideas on shots...maybe some shots of waterscape creature, flora, or fauna.
maybe even some shots of kite flying either with people or maybe even on horseback

yep, i can understand that of some people.
there's a lot of hoopla that goes on with the olympics.
i just look past the hoopla and wade through it and look at the human stories behind every athlete.
if people would only realize how much effort and blood, sweat, and tears it takes...and even then if
people say they're only doing it for the money, i still look past that as yep there are monetary rewards.
but there's also much more to it. guess i'm an idealist of sorts...always holding out hope that there can be some sort of change in the world that can be made with holding the olympics.

Exactly! I love watching the athletes struggle and succeed. Especially as my ex was working towards it & a good friend is actually competing, gives it a different view I suppose.

Lets just be glad that the government didnt just decide to boycott the games then eh?

I love the olympics as its about the only time sports really interest me just because youre get to see the best competing against the best and at the end of the day thats what it should all be about, people from all over doing what they love because they love it
